Do Your P'Art Foundation

 “To Walk a Mile in Your Shoes” is a natural fitting theme for a Do Your P’Art project. Every time a collaboration occurs, students are offered a glimpse into a world both similar and different than their own. They are able to engage with peers from outside of their communities in a context that values all contributions equally.   This year’s theme is focused on students getting to know each other in more meaningful and in-depth ways. The “ To Walk a Mile in Your Shoes” theme can easily incorporate personal, school-related, neighborhood, social, or cultural aspects of the students’ lives.

 
In this project, participants will work together in the creation of shoe sculptures or books. Five project options will be given to help guide teachers. Within each of these five project options various themes will be suggested that range in depth and grade level relevance.
